Important Disclaimer
The content on this website is for informational purposes only and does not constitute professional accounting or financial advice. No client relationship is formed until a formal engagement letter is signed by both parties.
1. Scope of Services
Knowlab provides accounting, business consultancy, and training services to businesses and individuals. The specific scope of any engagement is defined exclusively in a written engagement letter agreed upon by both Knowlab and the client prior to commencement of work.
Services described on this website are illustrative only. Knowlab reserves the right to decline any engagement at its sole discretion. Submission of a quote request does not guarantee the provision of services.
Knowlab is not responsible for any decisions made by visitors or prospective clients based solely on information published on this website without first obtaining formal professional advice through an engagement.
2. Payment Terms
Fees for services rendered by Knowlab will be set out in the engagement letter or invoice issued to the client. Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
- Invoices are payable within 14 days of the invoice date.
- A retainer or deposit may be required before work commences on a new engagement.
- Late payments may attract interest at the rate of 2% per month on the outstanding balance.
- All fees are quoted in Mauritian Rupees (MUR) unless otherwise stated.
- Knowlab reserves the right to suspend services in the event of non-payment.
Disputes regarding invoices must be raised in writing within 7 days of receipt. Failure to dispute an invoice within this period constitutes acceptance of the amount due.
3. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Knowlab's total liability to any client or third party arising from the provision of services or use of this website shall not exceed the total fees paid by the client to Knowlab in the three (3) months preceding the claim.
Knowlab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, or business interruption, even if Knowlab has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Knowlab is not liable for any loss arising from the client's failure to provide accurate, complete, or timely information required for the provision of services.
